Top 3 Biggest Series Comebacks in History

3. 1975 Islanders vs Penguins: The Penguins had a 3 games-to-none lead over the New York Islanders in the 1975 Quarterfinals, when the resilient Islanders began to fight back. Not only did they merely fight back, they never even trailed from Game 4 through Game 7, and completely turned the series around.
2. 2010 Flyers vs Bruins: The Bruins held a 3-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Semifinals and were poised to take the series in a sweep, but the Flyers would have none of that, scoring in Overtime at home in Game 4. They took the series to a Game 7, but found themselves trailing by 3 goals early on. They bounced back and won the game, 4-3, stunning the Boston fans, and eventually making the Cup Finals.
1. 1942 Maple Leafs vs Red Wings: This 3-0 comeback came back in 1942, in none other than the Stanley Cup Finals between the Red Wings and Maple Leafs. This was also the first Stanley Cup Final to go 7 games. After dropping the first 3, the Leafs battled back, winning a close one 4-3, then routing the Wings 9-3. They would then allow only one goal for the remainder of the series, and won 3-0 and 3-1 to take the Cup to Toronto, capping the greatest Playoff Comeback of all time.
