Wayne Gretzky

Wayne Gretzky was the greatest hockey player ever not because he had the hardest shot, or because he was the best skater, or faster than everybody else. He was the best player because of his passing ability and his ability to see the ice. He was always 3 or more steps ahead of everybody else and it allowed him to make plays that nobody else could make. The playoff moment of the day shows the most amazing pass I have ever seen. A behind the back pass in which he LED COFFEY with the puck. INCREDIBLE. It takes insane amounts of skill to know first of all where Coffey was. and second to know WHERE HE WAS GOING TO BE! He passed to where people were going to be, not to where they were. This combination of vision and passing skill is what made Wayne the Greatest.
